Title: Search for parent bodies of small meteor showers on the basis of their dynamic and structural characteristics (by the materials of dissertation)
This study uses an improved method for the identification of small meteor showers with asteroids on the basis of an assessment of the proximity of the elements of the orbits of two small bodies according to the criteria Drummond and K. V. Kholshevnikov. The upper threshold of the criteria, below which the genetic connectivity of small bodies is possible, are determined individually for each meteor shower taking into account the dispersion of orbital elements of meteoroids. The probability level of a genetic relationship of the asteroid and meteor shower are estimated by comparing the values of the dynamic parameters of the asteroid and swarm (Tisserand constants, quasi-stationary parameters, the longitude of perihelion of the orbits). The next step is to analyze the structural parameters of the observed meteor shower with the orbital elements of asteroids taking into account their evolution. The method was tested on meteor shower k-Cygnids and little studied North and South d-Cancrids.
