Abstract

The possibility of determining the velocity of the solar wind from the orientation of the plasma tails of comets is studied. The results of a comparative analysis of the velocities measured by the spacecraft and the calculated data

obtained from the deviation of comet tails relative to the extended radius vector are presented. The condition of correspondence between the measured and calculated data is shown.
