The dissertation attempts to establish genetic links (signs of a common origin) between pairs of TNOs in close orbits among the dynamically cold population of the classical Kuiper Belt based on data on their past dynamic evolution.<\/p>\n<p>The following problems were solved:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Pairs of TNOs in close orbits were identified by analyzing the values of the Kholshevnikov metrics for two cases: a pair of TNOs consisting of two single TNOs, and one component of the pair of TNOs being a binary TNO.<\/li>\n<li>The evolution of pairs of TNOs in close orbits was studied based on nominal orbits to test the possibility of past orbital convergence or the TNOs themselves.<\/li>\n<li>For pairs of TNOs with signs of past orbital convergence, the probabilistic evolution was studied to clarify the formation time of the TNO pairs and estimate their age.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>The following results were obtained.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>A new method for searching for TNO pairs in close orbits, using the Kholshevnikov metrics \u03c1<sub>2<\/sub> and \u03c1<sub>5<\/sub> as a measure of TNO orbital proximity, revealed that all identified TNO pairs belong to the dynamically cold population of the classical Kuiper Belt.<\/li>\n<li>Most likely, the age of most TNO pairs exceeds 10 Myr, as the age estimates for the pairs obtained by integrating over a 10 Myr using different methods differ significantly.<\/li>\n<li>A new method for estimating the age of TNO pairs in close orbits based on the results of probabilistic evolution, based on the analysis of the distribution of moments of reaching the minimum of the Kholshevnikov metric \u03c1<sub>2<\/sub>, made it possible to estimate the age of five young TNO pairs: 1999 HV11 \u2013 2015 VF172, 2003 QL91 \u2013 2015 VA173, 2013 SD101 \u2013 2015 VY170, 2002 CY154 \u2013 2005 EW318 and (88268) 2001 KK76 \u2013 2015 GV58.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Author: Al&#8211;Shiblaw Omar Naziah Mutlag (Ural Federal University) Title: Investigation of the Dynamic Evolution of Pairs of Trans-Neptunian Objects in Close Orbits Abstracts: Omar Naziah Mutlag Al-Shiblawi&#8217;s dissertation is devoted to the study of the dynamic evolution of pairs of trans-Neptunian objects (TNOs) in close orbits.
