The ARIES has completed more than 50 years in the frontline studies in the Astronomy. A brief history of astronomical studies being made in India and specially at ARIES will be presented in this talk.<\/p>\n<p><b>\u0414\u043e\u043a\u043b\u0430\u0434\u0447\u0438\u043a:<\/b> <i><span style=\"color: #0000ff;\">Ramakant Singh Yadav (Aryabhatta Research Institute of Observational Sciences, Mahora Peak, Hainital, India)<\/span><\/i><\/p>\n<p><b>\u041d\u0430\u0437\u0432\u0430\u043d\u0438\u0435 \u0434\u043e\u043a\u043b\u0430\u0434\u0430:<\/b> <i><span style=\"color: #0000ff;\">&#8220;A technique to do astrometry on wide field (30&#8242; X 30&#8242;) images will be discussed. This technique has been applied on two nearby globular clusters NGC 6397 and M4 and is very effective to separate the cluster members from field stars.
