Chugai (INASAN)<\/em><\/p>\n<p><b>Title:<\/b> <em>&#8220;Efficiency of cosmic ray acceleration in supernovae IIn&#8221;<\/em><\/p>\n<p><b>Abstract: <\/b>A dominant fraction of cosmic rays (CR) with energies less than 1 PeV is accelerated in shock waves of supernovae and supernova remnants. Yet neither theoretically nor observationally the conversion efficiency of the shock wave kinetic energy into the CR is estimated. I propose to recover the CR acceleration efficiency in supernovae IIn from the Halpha spectral line formed in a dense circumstellar gas. Method is based on the effect of the velocity increase of the circumstellar gas in a preshock zone due to the pressure of a relativistic precursor formed by the CR accelerated in the shock wave.<\/p>\n<p><b>2) Speaker:<\/b><em> N.E.
