SECTION \u201cASTEROID-COMET HAZARD\u201d<\/strong><\/p>\n

\n\u2022 Coordination of the activities of the initiative groups in the institutes of the Russian Academy of Sciences, higher educational institutions and other organizations in Russia working on the problem of asteroid-comet hazard (ACH);
\n\u2022 Development of a system of priorities, stages and proposals for the development of actions in the field of ACH;
\n\u2022 Preparation of a draft of the Integrated Target Program for the creation of a system that provides solutions to the problems of ACH and space debris;
\n\u2022 Preparation of the concept of the federal targeted program to counter space hazards;
\n\u2022 Creation of an information system on space hazards in terms of the ACH problem;
\n\u2022 Participation in the development of proposals for specialized space missions to the small bodies of the Solar system;
\n\u2022 Monitoring the progress of research and the implementation of programs, discussion of results, development of proposals and recommendations for the Council of the Russian Academy of Sciences on Space, Roscosmos and for international organizations;
\n\u2022 Development of proposals for the financial support of work on the assessment of the state of man-made environment in near-Earth space (NES);
\n\u2022 Organization and carrying out an examination of proposals on the subject of the group, sent to the legislative and executive authorities of the Russian Federation, Russian Academy of Sciences, ministries and departments of the Russian Federation by organizations, legal entities and individuals.<\/p>\n

\n

SECTION \u201cSPACE DEBRIS\u201d<\/strong><\/p>\n

\n\u2022 Determination of research directions, development of recommendations and a list of tasks solved by RAS institutes in the field of studying technogenic contamination of near-Earth space (NES);
\n\u2022 Preparation of a draft Integrated Target Program for the creation of a system to solve the problems of asteroid-comet hazard and space debris;
\n\u2022 Preparation of the concept of a Federal Targeted Program to counter space hazards;
\n\u2022 Development and examination of projects and plans for fundamental and applied research and other works carried out by institutes of the Russian Academy of Sciences on the problems of technogenic contamination of NES, their coordination with the Inter-Agency Working Group and work plans of the International Inter-Agency Space Debris Coordination Committee;
\n\u2022 Coordination of work and interaction of RAS institutes with organizations of Roskosmos, the Ministry of Defense and organizations of other Russian departments, including the creation of the Automated System for Predicting Dangerous Situations in Space within the framework;
\n\u2022 Development within the Russian Academy of Sciences and in cooperation with other Russian organizations of the information interaction schemes for collecting, storing, processing and analyzing scientific information on the state of man-made space environment in NES;
\n\u2022 Examination of scientific programs for the study of the man-made space environment situation, reducing the contamination of NES and regulatory documents on the problem;
\n\u2022 Monitoring the progress of research and the implementation of programs, discussion of results, development of proposals and recommendations for the Council of the Russian Academy of Sciences on Space, the Interdepartmental Working Group on Space Debris and for international organizations;
\n\u2022 Coordination of work at the institutes of the Russian Academy of Sciences on the system of collecting, storing, processing and analyzing the state of the technogenic space situation in the NES;
\n\u2022 Development of proposals for the financial support of work on the assessment of the state of man-made environment in the GST.<\/p>\n
